Tamekia E. Spencer is a highly respected professional in the beauty industry with over 17 years of experience. A graduate of Sandhills Community College, she completed the Cosmetology program at the top of her class, earning an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Cosmetology. Tamekia is a licensed Cosmetologist, a licensed Cosmetology Instructor, and a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner. She is also the proud owner and founder of Elite Professional Hair Care Services (10+ years) and Elite4You Academy, where she provides advanced continuing education for beauty professionals.
Tamekia’s expertise extends beyond the salon chair. For over 14 years, she has served as an award-winning Associate Educator for Design Essentials, training aspiring stylists and industry professionals nationwide. Throughout her career, she has trained and/or gained tutelage from some of the industry’s best, including Design Essentials, Dudley, Patric Bradley, Joico, Paul Mitchell, Amore` Colore, and The Trichology Institute, and she continues to invest in her growth and education.
Believing that “knowledge breeds confidence, and confidence casts out fear,” Tamekia is passionate about sharing her knowledge to empower others.
